Aurora Charms comes to International Galleries!
The world of European style sterling silver and gold charm bracelets has taken our IGGI – International Gallery – Galeria Internacional - stores by storm! We now regularly get to the galleries in the morning to find ladies waiting at the door to browse our fabulous collection of sterling silver and gold charms, bracelets and glass and crystal beads. It has added another vibrant aspect to our galleries and brought another portion of the population into close contact with our wall art and stone sculptures. October News
October brings the slow and gradual opening of many art galleries in Puerto Vallarta that close for the Summer. Our Marina gallery has remained open and is currently showing a wide selection of both paintings and stone and bronze sculpture by a variety of artists, both local and international.
Our Downtown gallery opened on Monday 5th October and is being well visited by locals and tourists alike. The Downtown gallery is currently showing a vibrant, energetic collection of mixed media on canvas paintings by Zimbabwean artist Peter Jeke. Peter’s paintings are charming, graphic and radiate the African sun and light. Totally captivating. Peter began painting at free classes given at a local church. The legendary Zimbabwean artist and sculptor Dominic Benhura saw his work and encouraged him to take art seriously and allow his talent to grow. Peter took his advise and has developed a unique style which holds up well in both the African and North American arena.

We have two art galleries in Puerto Vallarta Mexico where we showcase a unique blend of original local and imported art, the stunning Shona stone sculptures of Zimbabwe, my one-of-a-kind “Artist Created Jewelry”, unusual and dramatic African jewelry crafted in copper, bronze and other metal alloys, gorgeous tableware from the same group of African artisans, beautiful African baskets from Zululand, Swaziland and Zimbabwe, tribal textiles and embroideries, stunning local and Dogon bronzes from Africa and unique African decor items.
An eclectic and fascinating mix which we keep moving and dynamic!
Over the weeks we will be introducing art and artists, sculptors, crafts and craftspeople, it will be interesting, fun, and hopefully informative!
