At our marina IGGI gallery, in addition to a fabulous
collection of Shona Stone Sculpture from Zimbabwe,
African Dogon bronzes, Zulu and Swazi baskets,
gorgeous African tableware and jewelry and other unique
and interesting decor items, we have a constantly
changing collection of work by talented local artists that
includes bronzes, oil, acrylic, mixed media and
watercolour paintings.
During the season we stage solo shows for our various
artists who include, Bridged Lott, Susan Falk, Steve
Fischer, Amed Ramen, Clemente Hernandez Garcia,
Philippo lo Grande, Jose Alvarez , Gustavo Lopez Ochoa
and Pepe GTZ.
In the new "Old Town" gallery, the focus will be on
dedicated shows featuring stunning Stone Sculptures
from our new container of 730 pieces supported by the
work of Bridged Lott.
Our opening show, for the Old Town gallery which will run
from 1st October 2008 and is titled "A Passion for
Dance". It will include the stunning piece below:
"Dancing Girl" by Zimbabwean sculptor Rufaro Murenza.
